Why Marine Plastics?
Valley Forge Fabrics has partnered with the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, to work together in cleaning our oceans and raise awareness of the problem of marine litter. This collection is made from reclaimed and upcycled marine litter including post-consumer recycled PET bottles found on our beaches and coasts, ocean floor and surface, rivers, and estuaries; giving them a new beginning as decorative performance fabrics for hotels & resorts.
Plastics and other marine debris are becoming a larger problem across the globe and creating garbage patches in both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, as well as smaller bodies of water, such as the Mediterranean and North Seas.

Textiles with a purpose
As a part of our sustainability commitment, Valley Forge is dedicated to living and working together harmoniously with our environment. We have made the preservation of our planet and its resources a priority since 2002 by consistently including recycled products in our product offerings.
The 79 unique textiles within our first volume of SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC are woven with yarns that are made with plastics reclaimed from our oceans, coastal areas, and other waterways. These plastics pulled from waterways and through SEAQUAL INITIATIVE global clean-up partners are sorted, washed, and twisted into the yarns that are then used to produce these hospitality-grade luxury fabrics.

Designed for Hospitality
SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC textiles weave sustainability, performance features, and comfort into one upholstery collection. The nine marine-inspired patterns come in an array of colors and textures that are as vibrant and diverse as the worlds oceans. The combination of neutral tones and vibrant hues create a fluid statement within hospitality spaces along with a pleasant mix of soft chenille and textured boucle styles, providing enough variety to satisfy all tiers of interior design.
Each sustainable fire-retardant pattern exceeds 50,000 double rubs and is woven in the USA to produce a unique and extensive line of upholstery fabrics.
