What is Carbon Offsetting?
Carbon offsetting is the
process of reducing the net carbon emissions of an individual
or organization, either by their own actions, or through
arrangements with a carbon-offset provider. A carbon offset
provider, achieves net reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
through proxies who reduce their emissions or increase their
absorption of greenhouse gases.

Shipping fabric to our
customers is a necessary part of our business. Obviously,
shipping releases carbon and greenhouse gases into the
atmosphere. Below is our certificate for carbon offsetting all
of our shipping. When we first investigated this process, we
researched offsetting all of our
FRESH
fabrics. As we became more swept up in the
FRESH
movement, and started to
FRESHen
up as much of our company as possible, we made the
decision to offset every yard of fabric we ship - not just
FRESH.
All of our shipments and all of our products for each and
every customer is carbon neutral.
